The fabric has been deeply dyed in indigo but still has a white core in the yarn which will be visible when the indigo starts to fades with time and lots of wear just like a pair of blue jeans
This 12 oz fabric makes us think about the heydays of denim back in the late 20th century when the fabric was not thicker than 8 oz
The jeans seen in the picture are a pair of Levi's 501xx from the early 50s
The Chaparral Blouse is inspired by 1920′s 30′s sport type jackets
