That first purchase, 8 pound braided line turned out to be the best investment I made , when it comes to catching fish, I was able to reel in several 2 pound and 3 pound stripers on 8 pound braided line, I have over 20 fishing poles and I have loaded everyone of them up with reaction fishing line, from 80 pound test on my Ocean poles to 6 pound test on my grandkids poles, if you are thinking about trying I would definitely recommend this product
